Spring Gardens Photography Workshop - Richmond Virginia

Greetings my fellow photographer friends,

So where have I been? Here's just one of the many things I've been working on in my hiatus!

Many of you have been asking me "what's next." So, it is with great pleasure that I can finally and officially announce to you that I will be co-anchoring a Spring Garden Photography Workshop in Richmond, Va. April 29-May 2. Many of you will remember Jamie Konarski Davidson from some of my classes in Wilson. We have teamed up together to bring you what I think will be an awesome photography workshop.

This will be an action-packed workshop where we will include plenty of hands-on instruction in the field so you can learn and fine tune shooting techniques. Then 'retire' back to the hotel for classroom sessions that focus on photography and image processing, and if that weren't enough of a day for you, we will also have time for image sharing & critiques. Our days will run from 7am to 10:30 pm with all the photography goodness I know many of you crave!

During the daylight hours we're shooting at three incredible locations: Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, Maymount Park, and the Agecroft House and Gardens. I can't say enough about how cool these locations will be to shoot - just see for yourselves. Then when night falls, we've packed in SIX (6!) classroom workshops to help you obtain better images. You should come home with a ton of wonderful shots! Come join us, it's going to be a blast!

We've reserved an incredible deal with the 'Base' hotel Baymont Inn and Suites for just $39.99 per night (single or double!) with breakfast included! We will also be including a couple of your meals AND admission to the shooting locations in your registration fee! The hotel is conveniently located very close to our shooting locations and there are several nice restaurants in the near vicinity too including an Olive Garden in the parking lot!

Don't delay! We're limited to 14 participants and it will sell out fast. The last workshop wound up with 14 on the waiting list. See the brochure linked to this post for all the information you should need. There is no web signup, you need to complete the form and send to Jamie. Dropping us an email to tell us you've sent your money would be appreciated too.

Thanks for your continued interest, and I look forward to seeing many of you in Richmond!
Chris
